I completed my postgraduate training in Mental Health in Primary Care at Middlesex University in 2005 and thereafter I attained my MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) in 2010. I have been a registered member of British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) since 2008 and I am fully accredited as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist.

I am also an EMDR practitioner. I completed my EMDR training in 2015 and have been an accredited practitioner in EMRD since November 2016. EMDR is an acronym for ‘Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing’. EMDR is a powerful psychological treatment method which has been developed for trauma-focussed therapy.

Outside of my private practice, I work part-time within the NHS in a primary care psychology service where I treat people referred by their GP for depression and various anxiety disorders such as panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety, health anxiety and agroaphobia and other phobias. I supervise trainees and qualified CBT practitioners.

I regularly attend conferences, seminars and workshops in order to keep up date with current practice and to continue with professional development.
